Description:
The Safety Technician supports the commitment to providing a safe, compliant, and high‑performing manufacturing environment. This role enhances safety processes across large‑scale fabrication and assembly operations and helps ensure regulatory compliance, reduces workplace risk, and reinforce a of safety.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Assist with training sessions on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
Assist with Investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
Maintain workplace safety incidents and track progress on implementation of corrective actions.
Promote safe work behaviors on floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
One to two years of hands‑on experience in a similar role.
Completion of OSHA 30‑Hour training (or willing to obtain).
Bilingual communication ability is preferred.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced or high‑pressure environments.
Willingness to work a variety of shifts as needed
