Seeking a Manufacturing Technician/Quality Inspector for day-to-day inspection of raw materials and assemblies as well as documenting quality issues per processes and presenting data in a statistical format.
Responsibilities:
Inspection, documentation and data collection of parts and assemblies.
Use data to create reports to use for training and/or process improvement strategies.
Other tasks include discussing issues with engineers, vendors and updating SOP's as needed.
Could be working in multiple areas such as electrical, mechanical, and weld inspection
Ideal Experience:
Prior experience with assembly inspection process
Documenting quality issues per processes and presenting data in a statistical format.
Ability to follow directions along with strong attention to detail is extremely important
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (write reports in Word, create and use spreadsheets in Excel for analysis)
Must be able to read and interpret Engineering Blueprints as every aspect of inspecting product relies on the blueprints to ensure accuracy.
Basic math skills necessary to include fractions and decimals
