This role will perform maintenance functions in the Maintenance Department and throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose machine equipment for repair, machining and electrical repair.
- Alter and upgrade machines and build simple machines for internal use in manufacturing operations.
- Machine and build dies and punches for production per drawing specifications.
- Diagnose and repair machine electrical components.
- Trouble shoot and repair Ultra Sonic Welders.
- Proactively address safety issues including door switches, trip devices, light curtains and various guarding on machinery.
- Perform basic facility repair and maintenance.
- Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
- Assist Machine Lead in assembly of complex machines.
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts of machinery and hydraulic systems.
- Preventative maintenance includes grease, vacuum, clean machines and necessary machine parts to ensure safe and continual production.
- Install, Program and troubleshoot PLC’s, pneumatic and hydraulic controllers.
- Perform Lockout/Tagout on equipment.
- Perform machine setup and run production parts as needed to assist the Manufacturing Department.
Ideal Experience:
- Two + years of maintenance experience working on industrial machinery and electrical repair in manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with lockout/tag out procedures.
- Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle as needed.
- Read and understand blueprints, shop orders and electrical schematics.
