Quality Engineer
Waukesha, WI · Architecture/EngineeringLocal Manufacturing firm is in need of a ‘Quality Engineer’ to provide Quality Engineering support for product development or sustained manufacturing within an assembly/fabrication environment.

- Provide Quality Project Management support as needed
- Ensure that materials, products, and processes meet specifications and/or standards.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work with customers to develop Quality Plans for projects
- Communicate and work with customers with regards to RMA’s, FAI’s, PPAPs, etc
- Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for projects and runtime improvements
- Reviews supplier PPAP and capability study information
- Visual and dimensional inspecting as needed
- Inspection and/or testing duties to ensure that product meets customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Product and process auditing
- Data collection and reporting
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues to improve Plant and Supplier Quality
- Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in a metal fabrication environment/background
- Experience in a Quality related function is required.
