Technical Sales/Inside Account Manager – Manufacturing

Unique opportunity for an Inside Account Manager role in the Mundelein area.

This role will serve as the primary contact for clients and partner with management to coordinate all projects from quoting to inventory to project management through to final shipping.
This will not be a ‘Sales’ job – The role will assist the sales team to assist with the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills will include:
  • Build rapport with customers
  • Ability to manage and prioritize daily activities
  • Able to communicate project status both written and verbally with customers to assist them through the order process.
  • Manage, track, and report on projects to successful completion.
  • Create and maintain documents such as schedules, plans, inventory management, and status reports to share with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work self-directed with the ability to wear many hats.
  • Experience in a technical customer service/account manager role (non-call center) environment.
Helpful Skills:
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage inventory and work with Shipping and Receiving
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
