Production Scheduler

Major Manufacturer is seeking a professional Production Scheduler to organize and disseminate information to achieve maximum efficiency in production activities.

Responsibilities
  • Compile information from various sources into a master schedule.
  • Improve communication methods and scheduling processes.
  • Increase visibility of information to the plant floor.
  • Check progress of work on floor and report in master schedule.
  • Assist in coordinating the flow of work and materials between departments.
  • Evaluate ‘make-to-stock’ inventory and its impact on production.
  • Closely track status details on jobs to ensure timely delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Business administration, supply chain, or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems, Project Management Tools, and Excel features such as tables, filters, and sorting.
  • Analytical mindset and able to turn information into useful, pertinent information.
  • Ability cooperate and function within a team of engineers & production personnel.
  • Strong Professional demeanor and strong verbal & written communication skills.
