Technical Sales Engineer

Our Germantown area client has an immediate need for a 'Sales Engineer’.  This will be a direct hire position.
 
Position Overview:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing customer contact and cold calling potential customer contact by way of phone and email throughout the North American continent and overseas.
  • Receive customer inquiry applications and provide complete proposals through the company's own internet/engineering software.
  • Discuss those applications with Representatives and customers as required. 
Technical Qualifications:
Ideal candidate ideally would have a minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience with some of the following backgrounds (but ideal background is not mandatory) - Other Backgrounds WILL be considered.
  • Industrial boiler sales and/or service
  • Industrial natural gas or diesel engines
  • Heat transfer understanding
  • Combustion understanding
  • Piping diagrams regarding steam & water
  • Liquid & air flow
Communication Qualifications:
  • Software: Outlook, Microsoft Word and ideally Excel, & some Cad Experience (AutoCAD).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
