This person’s primary responsibility is to ensure that we have only high-quality material being shipped to the customer. Support operations to ensure all quality requirements are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs calibrations on all equipment
Conducts/maintains inventory on all consumables and lab equipment
Works with Operations Management to optimize plant efficiencies
Assists in training of QC techs- maintaining continuous training
Works with production crew members to analyze process capabilities/efficiencies
Covers shifts as needed (weekly schedule adjustment would be made to accommodate)
Presents quality reports to MGMT
Maintains housekeeping in work place and surrounding areas
Must be self-motivated and flexible
Performs other related duties as needed
Process control experience using sampling and statistical analysis to help manage a system
Ability to lead a TEAM in support of operations to maintain efficiency.
Exhibit strong computer skills in performing analysis and producing reports for management.
Familiarity with testing equipment to perform training and calibration protocol.
Work is performed in outside, sometimes wet, hot or cold environment and frequently climb stairs. Employee may be subject to changing weather conditions, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, minor heights, and non-hazardous chemicals.
