As the Bartender Lead & Mixologist, you will be responsible for curating innovative drink menus, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a vibrant and engaging atmosphere in a high volume and fast paced bar.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and leadership to the bartending team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their bartending skills, knowledge of beverages, and customer service.
- Create and update a diverse and innovative drink menu, showcasing a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and unique beverages.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new and exciting ingredients into signature drinks.
- Ensure that all bartenders deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Oversee and manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
- Implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Interact with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction with the drinks and overall experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular patrons to enhance customer loyalty.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience as a bartender, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and a passion for creating unique and memorable drinks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with grace.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service and knowledge of local liquor laws.
