Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to interact with customers by providing price quotes, processing orders, and answering product-related questions, resulting in high customer satisfaction and effective, collaborative relationships with other company departments.
Essential Job Functions:
· Professionally manage all details of day-to-day customer communication (e-mail, phone, etc.)
· Receive, maintain, and track customer purchase orders in the ERP system.
· Import and manage EDI or manual order demands for all customers as required.
· Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery, expediting as needed and contacting customers concerning changes or delays in shipments.
· Function as a liaison between departments (Production, Quality, and Shipping) to address and resolve customer issues effectively and in a timely manner.
· Update quarterly and annual customer price changes.
· Participate in audits and maintain documentation required for IATF, 19649/ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
· Provide support to outside sales reps as needed.
· Participate on improvement teams as required.
· Complete special projects as assigned.
· Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to the position.
· Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures (5S)
· Follow health, safety, security, and environmental practices as required for IATF, 19649/ISO 9001:2015
Non-essential Job Functions:
· Other projects, duties, and responsibilities as requested by other members of management.
· Some travel maybe required.
· Provide back-up support in other office functions.
· Prepare reports as required.

Education and/or Experience:
· Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 years customer service experience
· Mfg. experience required.
· EDI experience a plus

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
· Ability to perform math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
· Ability to solve practical problems, and interpret a variety of specifications, and information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Ability to operate Windows and/or Apple based computers and working knowledge of typical office programs – i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
