ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To operate CNC and manual machining operations and support all shop operations as required:
• Will report to machine shop foreman.
• Will be required to get approved by ATF as an Employee Possessor
• Valid driver’s license and approval by Client insurance for driving company vehicles
• Will provide QC reports as required to the QC manager
• Will get OSHA 10 card
• Will be involved in other special projects at the shop and occasional field operations.
• Knowledge of G-Code CNC programming important
• Knowledge of machinery, tooling, and equipment important as this position requires an ability to solve problems while working in a small or large crew situation
• Mechanical Aptitude important
• Some computer skills in Word and Excel are important
• Will need the ability to organize tooling

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in the operation of CNC machines.
• Knowledge of ASME Welding and ASNT is helpful.

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in Machine Shop environment.
• Able to train less skilled technicians.
• Quick thinking and adaptive responses in a small and very agile, technical, international, and growth business.
• An ability to communicate with the field, fabrication shop and engineering when issues and operational concerns arise.
• Able to read technical specifications and drawings.
