Ability to do Mold Evaluations and be able to recommend mold rebuilds (done at mold cycle schedule)
Ability to accurately evaluate and execute mold repairs or changes.
Ability to evaluate and check-in new molds from outside vendors
Identify and communicate any possible tooling improvements.
Ability to delegate work as well as train Tool Room Lead and Mold Maintenance Technicians.
Ability to work overtime based on production needs
Adhere to production and quality standards.
Other Functions
Work with QA to identify quality concerns.
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other tasks as assigned
Assists in monitoring tool room activities in absence of supervisor
Assist in Maintaining Client's Quality Management System and ISO 14001 certification by supporting: Corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.
Required Personal Protective Equipment * safety shoes are to be worn at all time during your scheduled work hours. * Department manager/supervisor will cover additional PPE as required on department specific work instructions.
All employees entering the manufacturing area and other identified locations must wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Wearing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a condition of employment.
Key Competencies
Ability to troubleshoot molds (in and outside of the press)

Successful completion of forklift training.
Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)
Mold building experience is preferred or 8+ years of Mold Maintenance/repairs
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Must have good problem solving skills and be detail oriented.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must have own precision tools.
Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
Prior forklift experience, preferred.
Ability to work non-standard hours including weekend shifts.
Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance
