Job Purpose: Responsibilities include piecing together the product, often with a team performing quality assurance on the entire process.
Essential Job Function:
· Assemble or fit machined parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or on the production floor/cell
· Operate machines to perform simple machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts
· May perform routine or repetitive spot weld operations
· Recognize defective parts
· Meet quotas as required in work instructions applicable to job being run
· Follow all company policies and procedures as applicable to position
· Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures (5S)
· Understand and follow health, safety, security, and environmental practices
Non-essential Job Functions:
· Other tasks, duties , and responsibilities as requested by the Mfg. Leader or other member of management

Education and/or Experience:
· Must be 18 or older
· High school diploma or equivalent required
Abilities, Skills and Knowledge
· Ability to use various hand tools
· Ability to use gauges to check parts
· Requires a fundamental knowledge of machine shop operations acquired by on the job training
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organization
