Assembler - 1st & 2nd Shift (18375)

Specific Experience:
- Experience with operating a vertical turning machine or boring bar with the ability to set-up large scale parts and select tooling. Must be able to work independently.

- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Assembly tools knowledge required - Screw drivers, socket wrenches, torque wrenches, general tooling
- Hand torch, preheating and welding operation
- Handling and Moving Objects – Using forklifts, overhead cranes and manual pallet jack
- Measuring Tools knowledge required - Calipers (Dial, Digital, and occasionally Vernier) micrometers, tapes measures, levels, squares and other general measuring tools
- Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work
- Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience working as a heavy assembler.
- Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane and forklift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
