Primary responsibilities include:
- Start-up existing tools and produce good parts at standard per the PCS and MFG Floor Doc
- Flex to Setup based on priority/ high-low Metalizers and Laser Cutters
- Troubleshoot existing processes
- Follow standards assigned
- Aid in creation of Mold secondary process - i.e. End of arm tools, Heat Staking, In Mold Labeling, etc.
- 5's in the Molding area
- Audit quality standards on existing runs
Education:
- Apprenticeship participation or post high school education in plastic injection molding
- Continuing education (i.e. lean manufacturing, problem solving and process improvement)
Experience:
- 3 years in a mold technician role
- Proven technical and problem solving skills
